Experienced Sales Associate - Menswear, Shoes & Made to Measure Clothing
Our business is growing and we are looking to add on a dynamic individual to help keep up with new client demands for our menswear, rentals and made to measure clothing offerings for both men and women. As a Sales Associate you will be responsible for:  

  • Proactively engaging and meeting new customers, both in store and outside. Utilizing your former book of business to establish connections with our merchandise. Continuously creating sales letters and opportunities. Follow up on referrals and social media leads. Coordinate trunk shows and promotions. 
  • Perform sales of all retail merchandise, garment rentals, custom shoes and made to measure clothing program. 
  • Perform visual merchandising of the store to promote sales and align with trends, seasons or promotions. Ensuring the store is clean and running smooth at all times.  
  • Growing your sales and technical skills and positioning yourself for opportunities to grow within the company. Learning about our other services, sewing, fabrics and retail trends.  
  • Coming to work every day on time, focused, engaged, looking polished and ready to have a productive day. Maintaining your own sales notes, updating customer contacts, creating new client files, adding to our database and keeping organized.   
  • Taking correct payments and logging in sales into customer database, using cash register, writing new tickets for garments needing alteration services. 
  • Reviewing customer orders upon receiving shipments, provide quality assurance and contacting customers when orders arrive.  
  • Suggest new sales initiatives or promotions to management, particularly during seasonal shifts. 
  • Assist in receiving shipments, putting away new merchandise, maintaining a clean, neat, and organized store based on our merchandising to sell standards
  • Will answer the phone and respond to inquiries as needed. Will escalate matters to Management as necessary.  
  • Will help to maintain order of the store, cleaning and protection of garments and merchandise and ensuring store looks it’s best at all times. Ensuring clean fitting rooms for appointments. Adhere to open and close checklist as required.   
  • Strong interest to grow skills and learn, take on new responsibilities and grow with our company. 

Requirements:

Must have proven retail sales experience, preferably with suiting, menswear or luxury fashion brands. Strong networking skills and ability to cold call and add to sales leads to database. Experience measuring clients for sizing. Strong customer service skills. Detail oriented, organized, motivated and can work independently. 
Must be well groomed, fashionable, approachable and outgoing.  Knowledge and enjoyment of fashion industry trends.   Reliable, trustworthy and dedicated.  
Computer and tech savvy, MS Word/Excel, tablet, etc. 

Sales aptitude and ability to proactively engage customers. Able and willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Outgoing personality and ability to articulate and speak the English language professionally with customers. Able to listen and follow instructions. Ability to stand on your feet for an entire day/shift. Able to lift/move up to 50lbs. Operate a computer and cash register. Bend down and squat to locate and pick up merchandise located at ground level and to assist customers put on shoes; bend down and crouch to mark pants for alterations. Climb a ladder to reach merchandise and or supplies located above shoulder level. Lift arms and reach over the head to hang or take merchandise off racks or place on customer. Operate a computer and cash register, including manual tasks such as reaching across the counter to exchange monies with customer, grasping, pulling, pushing, and folding merchandise to wrap customer purchases. Stand and walk for the majority of work shift, sometimes as long as twelve hours per day, five days per week. Drive and operate a vehicle. See and distinguish between various fabrics, patterns and swatches. Must be trustworthy, dependable, articulate, professional, flexible, have strong judgement and discretion, able to multi-task, roll up sleeves and get the job done  
Experienced Seamstress - Bridal / Formalwear 
Our business is growing and we are looking to add on additional talent to our team of tailors and seamstresses.  We are seeking experience with bridal and gown fittings and alterations, however we are always looking to speak to those with the skills and passion for altering garments of all types! 


  • You will perform the fitting for each client, on site. This includes listening and understanding the clients needs and expectations. Working with the client to determine preferred fit, pinning and sewing the garment. 
  • Must have proven experience performing fittings with the client and seeing through to completion of all alterations for bridal and other formal gowns and dresses. 
  • Must be able to alter all types of garments for both men and women. This includes but is not limited to: pants, skirts, dresses, formal and bridal gowns, suits, jackets, and bags. 
  •  Must be experienced with all aspects of the alterations process, including: pinning and fitting each client, preparing and marking garments to be sewn, use of all types of sewing machinery, ability to hand sew as needed, steaming and pressing garments and quality checking all garments. 
  •  Must have knowledge of fabric, with respect to altering, garment drape and general fabric care. 
  • Must be highly customer service oriented, a great listener and have strong communication skills to perform one on one fittings successfully. 
  •  Must be able produce consistent, quality work, work well under pressure, meet deadlines and provide a high level of client satisfaction. 
  • A strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail and a sense of urgency are all required. 
  • Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time, lift at least 30 pounds, lift and carry heavy garments, operate required machinery, go up and down stairs. Must be able to work Saturdays and holidays.
